January 26, 2024 - I’m not sure how this got a wine advocate, 94, but it certainly drinking better than the CellarTracker 89. This is a good bottle that shows well with some air, and obviously an extra 12 years of age doesn’t hurt. I’d say it’s in a good spot now but benefit slightly from age over the next couple of years as slow ox developed the purple qualities of the fruit on the palate and softened the tannins.

June 5, 2023 - All good reviews below. Well made, clean wine. Dark colour. Needed to be decanted. Balanced and mineral, restrained dark red fruit and plums. Quite elegant and luscious. I enjoyed it but not sure if rush to buy again at Eur40 in appolonia. I can see why villa Joya sell it.

Liquorice, black plums, damsons nose.
Dark fruits, cedar, forest floor palate.
First bottle of a case, 14% abv, RP says drink until 2036, we shall see……. -

March 27, 2022 - My first experience with this. Super nice touriga. Lovely mineral and floral notes on the nose, cleanly made restrained fruits on the palates, great acid balance. This is very fine. Drinking perfectly at the moment.
