December 17, 2017 - The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like alcohol/hot and light toast. It tastes like mineral, coconut and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

September 3, 2017 - medium garnet, brick edge - nice nose of mature malbec flavors - dark fruit with some chocolate - full mouth with good acid-tannin-fruit balance - very good wine with food, but had hoped for more complexity from a 13-year old malbec

January 24, 2014 - Inky black colour. Blueberries and sweet currant on the nose. Creamy vanilla oak, chocolate, blackberries, and a bit of cassis on the palate. Smooth rounded tannins. A bit too much alcohol heat on the finish though. Overall, this was a nice enough food wine, but nothing really special. 70% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.

June 18, 2012 - Terrific! Enjoyed with strip steak and we all were impressed. Beautiful nose and soft finish. Not overpowering. Wish I had more

July 2, 2011 - Nose of black fruit, leather, menthol, and spice. Tannins are still pronounced with bold black fruit, spice, and leather. Really, really nice wine.
