March 9, 2011 - Great balanced fruit, even after 10 years! Evolved wonderfully in the glass over the course of dinner. Glad we opened it now; it may be on the backside of its longevity. Wish I had more of these to drink over and over again. <3 Cuvaison!

October 26, 2010 - Well structured and beautifully aged Merlot wine from the southern part of the Napa Valley (the cooler part of the valley). Aged in new and used French oak barrels. Opened one hour before drinking. Ruby red colored wine with a little orange around the rim. On the nose an intensive fruitiness despite the age, with fragrances of black cherry, plum, vanilla and coffee. Savory palate mirroring the nose, with a plush texture, an overall rich, full mouth feel and perfectly integrated tannins. Quite complex finish. Very enjoyable wine, really at its peak now.

September 16, 2009 - Excellent, fruity and bold yet not too harsh. Lingers on tongue. Good to pair with anything

January 10, 2009 - Deep dark purple -lighter at the rim. Initially detected black cherry, smoke, and a strange charcoal scent. On the palate the wine was full bodied and sumptuous. Plenty of black fruits and the some kind of char broiled flavor similar to bar-ba-que ribs? If that makes any sense. It was very good, showing complexity, fullness, and good balance. My only complaint is that finish was quite short.
