March 15, 2021 - Drinking nicely - there is a touch of Brett on initial opening, and tannins feel a bit astringent, but give it some air and it settles nicely. 4 hours in decanter and it was lovely with seafood stew, then after an overnight rest, still opening and paired well with salmon.

October 4, 2020 - I believe there is Brett in the wine which you may like or dislike depending on your taste. For me that is a powerful characteristic in the wine, which is generally good and drinking well. Maybe it is a bit of a distraction.

August 8, 2020 - A huge transformation over the past year. A lot more drive and complexity to the bouquet and it now displays very typical Bordeaux character. Cassis, tobacco, graphite, lavender, spices and leather. Firm acidity and just enough tannins to think that this will get even better. Still clipping a bit on the finish. 5+12+16+9= 92
