December 6, 2019 - Decanted and consumed over two nights. So closed, so young, such a mistake to open now. 13.5%

March 9, 2019 - La Paulée de NY Grand Tasting (Pier 60 - NYC): Red berry aromas. Silky and smooth with plenty of spice and some over toast. Should all come together nicely with time. 90-92

March 9, 2019 - La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Both red and black cherry aromas and flavors showing more Vosne than Nuits character to me to start, but then becomes more meaty and burly from middle to finish. Should drink well young with some air, but age gracefully for decades.

January 31, 2018 - Here I found a dark and rich expression of Pinot fruit, with crushed berries giving way to savory spices and underbrush. On the palate, I found a ripe and fleshy expression, kept in check by a balanced mix of acid and tannin, as black cherry gave way to minerals and earth. Tannins mounted throughout the finish with lingering red fruit and spice tones. This ‘16 seems more likely to improve in the cellar as it ages on balance and concentrated fruit.
