March 23, 2014 - Brick in colour fading at rim. blackberry aromas, intense fruit. long. ready to drink but no need to rush.
September 29, 2010 - Very good Cairanne, might even improve a bit more in a year or two.

May 14, 2009 - Very drinkable, but not memorable tonight. I shared a bottle with great company. The wine was very good, but the company better. Sometimes I like it when the wine is better. Still a very good bottle.
May 6, 2009 - Maybe this is a less than perfect bottle or maybe this wine is starting to slip. Fast. Nice earth light fruit and garrigue but the tannins are weirdly prickly and a big dose of grape soda shows up on the finish. Damn.
October 26, 2008 - Once again this is a beautiful and character filled example of Cairanne terroir with blackberries, earthy garrigue, balanced acidity, and ample ripe tannin. It was a delicious match with the leftover daube from the previous evening's Chateauneuf fest.
June 18, 2008 - Greenblanket just loves these balanced herbal and earthy Cairannes. This one is very nicely made with pretty black and red fruit, thyme led earthy garrigue, and great structure and balance. A lovely bottle of wine!
December 23, 2007 - Still a bit young, but this is going to be a great wine in a few years. Very smooth finish.
July 11, 2007 - Had at Chez Panisse and worked very well with all the dishes, but especially the lamb. Deep, inky purple. Big Blackberriy nose. Nice tannins with lots of ripe fruit, predominantly blackberry and cherry with a slight strawberry. Very well balanced, and the decanting helped, but it was still very young.
