July 27, 2021 - A little closed to start but 60-90 mins really saw this singing a with Margaux like perfume soaring out of the glass. Classic pencil shavings and tobacco, but also some rose and spice too. Very mid weight and not really grand or powerful but a lovely lower Cru Bourgeois. Less good the nest night so not a long term wine but just starting to drink well.

March 11, 2020 - This reminds me of why I like good, honest, lower-level Bordeaux. Lovely red fruit tones, good savoury notes on the nose and palate. Not fruity but enough body and presence. No discernible oak. Drinking now though a year or two more would add some refinement. A bargain in the co-op food fire sale for under £7.
