May 24, 2023 - Burgundian option for #Anniversary of the Judgement of Paris 2023 was the superbly aged En Virondot C-M (v16) by Marc Morey, a thrilling tale of butter & lemon & vanilla w a rarely seen close to oily character at this point in time. Shimmering & deep golden in appearance. The nose completely bursts w aromas of butter, ripe yellow fruit, vanilla, honey, petroleum, lemon - intriguing & powerful f first pour. Palate is rich, round, developed, caressed by striking acidity, exquisite depth & drive, finishing lingering! Wow, what a drinking experience.
