January 22, 2024 - Robe couleur grenat clair. Au nez, des notes de cerises, de cassis, de rose et d'épices. En bouche, c'est encore très jeune et tannique, mais la matière est là, du fruit, un petit côté fumé et balsamique. J'attendrai quelques années pour ma prochaine bouteille!

October 5, 2023 - Clear pale garnet in colour.
On the nose, perfumed red cherry, dry rose petals, intriguing truffle, leather and earthy notes interwoven with cinnamon spice, brown sugar, hawthorn and mocha characters. It’s developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus flavour intensity, red cherry, woody notes come through. The finish is medium plus with savoury characters lingering.
Bottle decanted for 12 hrs. Very good wine in a relatively weak vintage. Perfumed and intriguing. Certainly more on the savoury and earthy side of Barolo, as of St Estephe to Medoc. Well matured in the bottle with a lot of years ahead. -
