January 8, 2020 - lots of powerful and expression at this level! cassis, violet, peppercorn spice, blood/iodine type minerality. Supple tannins today with less grip than other '16s lately. Great core of fruit, the structure remains fairly hidden by the extract today. Good sappy, dark cherry fruit and shows a Gevrey character even today. Promising. 91-92.

October 14, 2018 - 13th Cellier Wine Fair (Hilton Athenaum Hotel): The nose is quite elegant, showing clear red fruit with some oak and tobacco notes.
In the palate, the wine is showing nicely, tasty ripe red fruit, thin oak frame, balanced, ncie acidity, almost light in body, med finish
