January 17, 2018 - Interesting but weird. Nose of an aged shiraz. Then a bit of marmite, then metallic vegetal medicine. New in today at Coya Mayfair! My friend was a buyer. Hmmm.

September 7, 2017 - FULL CIRCLE BEVCON 2017 SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE FOCUS, nose of red and black fruit, touch of earth, pepper, and floral notes, same on the palate, medium/big body, very tasty, fairly fruit forward, rich fruit, best in 4 to 7 years as this is my first experience with 100% Tannat wine, long finish.

(Bodega Marichal Tannat Grand Reserve "A") Saturated, very dark red violet color; aromatic, roasted red currant, raspberry puree, light pepper nose; tasty, tart red currant, tart raspberry puree palate with near medium acidity; needs 1-plus year; medium-plus finish
