February 13, 2024 - We had a magnum - it was opened and decanted three hours before drinking - we get a lot of fruit it is cherries, red prunes , raspberries and some anise. Acidity and tannins are well integrated and the fruit is showing a good balance. The wine is still young in its development - but is drinking well - will develop further - we do not get a lot of tertiary notes at the moment will come later - we will start with solid 92.

좋은 산도, 입자 고운 타닌, 미디엄 투 풀바디

과실 과실 신선한 매력에 훌륭한 밸런스, 우아하고 고운 아름다운 와인

April 1, 2022 - Three hour decant. Deep ruby color with brightness and clarity. Aromas of braised pomegranate & fig, rose oil, anise, sandalwood, fennel, black tea and clove - complex with moderate intensity. Rich on the palate, with nice expression, bringing balanced flavors of the aromatics and adding an inflection of chalk/limestone minerality. Dense and firm, medium weight and elegant, cut with taut acid and framed with broad fleshy tannins, finishing with very nice length and presence. Drinking very well at an early stage.

May 18, 2019 - France and Italy - May 6 to May 10, 2019: Complex aromas of black cherry, star anise, dried florals, cocoa dust and savory spcies. Elegant and seamless layers on the palate. Very nice lift of minerality. Densely packed secondary core. Medium+ acid with firm tannins - very fine. Juicy, lengthy finish. Excellent.

February 2, 2019 - 2014 Barolo at Festa dal Barolo (Del Posto, NYC): 2014 vintage tasting at 2019 Festa dal Barolo

Richer and riper than the Azelia. More breadth and extraction, with balsamic notes, orange liqueur, redder fruited and perfumed. There's almost an Amaro like perfume to it, along with some savory undertones.. More overt and richly textured compared to the Azelia, but with this richness it comes across as mid weighted and has good balance.
