March 22, 2019 - Kleur: Licht goudgeel Aroma / bouquet: Het kenmerkende bouquet van een gerijpte Riesling, een overrijpe gele appel, perzik en uiteraard oma's petroleumstelletje ofwel 'gout de pétrol'. Smaak / Afdronk: Frizure aanzet, mondvullend, dik-sappig met een romig mondgevoel. Geconcentreerd, mooie balans. Droge wijn met een indruk van zoet die vooral wordt bepaald door het mondgevoel. Indrukwekkend lange afdronk. Algemeen / potentieel: Fantastische rijpe Riesling van het nimmer teleurstellende huis Knoll. 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Smaak / Afdronk: 15 + Algemeen / potentieel: 8 = 89/100

August 29, 2015 - Opened by Vino Me as part of a three-bottle 2003 Weingut Knoll horizontal. Opens with notes of pit fruit and papaya with diesel undertones. Mineral, stone and stone fruit flavors but lacking acidity, this comes across as flabby.

August 29, 2015 - Opened as part of a 3 bottle Knoll horizontal. Medium yellow color. Notes of peaches and minerals. Lighter acids. Lacks depth. Flabby. On the downhill side. My least favorite of the bunch. 82 points.

July 28, 2009 - Reif auf den Punkt. Nicht langweilig, sondern mit frischer Säure ausgestattet; Bouquet mit reifen Äpfeln, am 2. Tag Birne, viel Mineralik, Kräuternoten. Am Gaumen Harmonie zwischen Frucht und Mineralik, sehr langer Abgang. Spannende Entwicklung am Abend; es kommt immer mehr Tiefe! Erstaunlich wenig Reifenoten; hat noch Entwicklungspotential.
