December 15, 2023 - Dusty, dark fruit flavors. Probably has a few more years, though possibly not getting any better? It paired well with chicken in a creamy sauce containing tomatoes, garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes.

Souple et fondu avec des tannins fins / présents...une pointe sèche. Son fruit est délicat et mûr. Longue finale pointe saline et chaude. Boire d'ici quelques années encore. 91++ -

August 13, 2022 - Second tasting after a few months.
Pale ruby with garnet rim in colour.
On the nose, medium plus intensity; aromas of dried orange peel, cranberry, cinnamon, Chinese five spices, violet, hawthorn, red plum, toast, geranium extract. It’s developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus flavour intensity, dark plum, dried orange peel, toast, charred coffee bean. The finish is medium plus with toast and coffee lingering.
Very good wine. After 7 hours bottle decanting, the wine opens up wonderfully. There is still quite a few oak notes there but the fruit starts to show itself. Great acidity, perfect balanced with alcohol and fine tannins. Love it!
