August 5, 2021 - Quite intense acidity, Barbera speaks, a food wine, certainly, has freshness, but lacks a wee bit concentration. Plenty of red berries, bittersweet. Bring on the spaghetti and a red table cloth, please. No need to hold this.

March 6, 2021 - It is not "my cup of tea", but high class wine

July 30, 2020 - Discovering Italian Wine @ the Texas Wine School. Deep ruby with a purple core. Med (+) intensity aromas of black cherry, ripe red cherry, ripe black plum, licorice, subtle baking spice from 12 mos in large French oak casks and partial aging in barrique. Dry, with med (+) acidity, med tannins and high alcohol (14.5%). The palate is consistent with the nose. A smooth and generous wine with medium (+) to full body, flavor intensity and length. Drinking well at 4 yrs and should continue to show well for several more.

June 7, 2020 - Deep ruby Color. Cherry, smoke, spice, vanilla on the nose. Med+ acidity, Full body, high alcohol, Med flavour intensity, Med+ tannins, Med finish. Quite some acidity still keeping it fruity and vibrant, with a bit of smoke and a little earthiness. Nice wine, good price quality, and have bought in the past so definitely a loyal buyer of the producer .
