    May 16, 2021 - Right off the bat this smelled slightly porty/cooked. The more air it got, the worse that aroma and accompanying flavors became. I think this had some heat damage from improper storage...really dark with a medium body and ample tannin, but the fruit is just stewed and not very tasty. No rating.

    May 11, 2021 - Much improved over last tasting a few years ago. Linear, brooding, but ultimately balanced and quenching, this is a solid QPR. Drink now. Technical score: 90. Enjoyment score: 92.

    December 19, 2020 - Strongly disagree with the 87 point rating just below. My guess is that person didn’t give this wine enough air. I let it breath for five hours before eating with a baked potato and a Parmesan crusted New York strip. It was delightful. Dark cherries. Solid tannin structure and a bit dry but ageworthy for the price. Lovely.
