  refreshing on the palate with bright acidity - medium weight - more to the pineapple side of the spectrum than the green apple and citrus I'd remembered - definitely warmer fruit - along with a lovely stoniness that I really enjoyed.
  The wine paired well with a frittata and a simple green salad.

  January 23, 2005 - Pale gold. Aromas of tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, and roasted nuts. The weight is medium, and the wine is substantial on the palate. Crisp acidity and clean fruit flavors. Excellent match to shrimp Francese, with the acidity of the wine cutting through the rich butter, and the citrus flavors playing off the lemon. If the wine has a shortcoming it is in the finish, which is a tad short, and a touch hot.
  I still liked it very much.
