September 21, 2023 - A private lunch (Restaurant Domenica, Amsterdam, NL): Energetic, freshness and minerality, beautifully developed rich aromas, perfect balance and weight (13.5% ABV), inimitable Brunello typicity, grippy but fine tannins, spicy depth, long and layered finish. Masculine elegance. On its plateau of maturity, good future.

July 18, 2019 - This is much richer and more powerful than Le Ragnaie's classic Brunello examples. Great aromatics of ripe red/black fruit with hints of oriental spices. Besides its broadness, this wine has a great sense of finesse that moderates the intensity. Still young, but great potential.

October 9, 2018 - Wine and Spirits Top 100 tasting - 2018 (The Metreon, SF): a bit bitter relative to the '13 regular brunello and VV.

July 6, 2018 - Coming from the south-east of the commune and offering notably more power than other more northerly Ragnaie vineyards. A rich, imposing perfume offering lovely complexity with all the usual floral / cherry / soil notes of Brunello. Unctuous and vibrant palate, long finish. Excellent.
