February 26, 2019 - Kevin Zrlay Red Burg: Nose: finessed red cherry, black raspberry, subtle vanilla, subtle smoke. Love the nose albeit a little weak
Palate: red cherry, red raspberry, subtle dill and vanilla
Great balance with pure red fruit, creamy mouthfeel despite medium body, great balance here with grippy tannin, acidity and red fruit. A little too much vanilla/dill but it’s a subtle note.
A more solid 93 red fruited wine than the 2015 Clos de la Chapellr En Carelle tried just before.
After revisiting at end of the night a more cranberry note came out.
