November 12, 2021 - Black cherry, weak tea, chocolate mints, and rich fruit cake. Gentle tannins on a soft finsh of tart red fruit.

June 19, 2020 - Three hour decant. Deep dark ruby magenta color. Hickory, blueberry, boysenberry and cinnamon streusel on the nose. Smooth, tongue drying palate. Full tannins on the longish finish.
February 8, 2020 - 90 min double decant and open an additional hour in the bottle before drinking. Very deep dark ruby magenta. Maple glaze, tobacco leaf, spearmint, plum and cherry lollipop on the aged, Bordeaux-like nose. Smooth, full bodied, tongue drying palate. Full, plush tannins on the long finish. This is nice, but the fruit was too subdued to warrant a higher score.
December 9, 2019 - Two hour decant. Bright, opaque magenta color. Date, anise, overripe plum, blueberry cobbler, spearmint and chrysanthemum on the complex nose. Smooth, tongue drying palate, with good, lingering acidity. Firm tannins on the medium long finish. Very solid for a wine at the lower end of Behrens lineup.
