May 23, 2022 - The young and the beautiful. Tasted blind and was no shock to anyone that it was Calicab. Opened for hours before serving. Beautiful fruit that wasn't in overdrive and showed mainly cassis and kirsch which is perfect for me. Some complexity already developing with a savory component that compliments and supports the fruit. There is some serious heft here but it is already very subtle and elegant. This wine will last a couple of decades probably but with air, is fantastic right now. I'm probably under rating it.

September 4, 2021 - Aerated at dinner. Took 10 minutes in the glass. Better with age. Wonderful blend of raisins, earth, and bell pepper. Drink with steak au poivre or bordelaise sauce.

September 16, 2020 - Drinkable from the beginning, improves over a couple hours. This is a luxurious wine, complex and fruity, not the least bit jammy. Hints of Cabernet Franc.

April 24, 2020 - Just exquisite wine. It is young and needs quite a bit of decanting to truly appreciate what it has to offer. It was significantly better on the second day of drinking it.
