January 12, 2021 - This delicious wine has a deep garnet color and smells of wood char and cinnamon. It is a smooth, full bodied wine with prune and black pepper notes. This Cab Franc lingers on the palate and is thoroughly enjoyable in every sense.
May 21, 2020 - Voluptuousness with a sense of grandeur that makes the tastes buds go, “Ooh, that’s silky and mouthy, full of dark fruits and tart, like a chewy fruit snack that sticks to the front of your teeth, a little plumy.” The arousal of my tongue was seductive.
November 27, 2019 - Nice and smooth from front to back. Wondering if this is going through a shut down period. Looking forward to trying another next year hopefully to see improvement.
September 6, 2019 - Wow. Duckhorn just seems to make these variety defying wines. Merlots that drink like Cabs and this Cab Franc that kinda drinks like a Merlot. Smooth and velvety, warm red fruits, a bit of green pepper and black pepper spice on the finish. Delicious wine.
August 18, 2018 - @25 minutes decant cherry tastes appear; Soft nose. Light body for a cab franc; Delicate; tannins are there, not completely round, but not completely soft; like no acidity at all. So good
