December 4, 2021 - Amazingly held up perfectly. Ussume Cab. Great smooth.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is an appealing blend of lush fruit with aromas of cherry, currant and spicy oak. The wine has rich texture and flavors of blackberry, plum and cherry. With ample fruit, good weight in the mid-palate and velvety tannins.

August 15, 2021 - Decanted over an hour. Lovely fragrance to the wine. Full of violets and remarkably fresh and lively. Dark red in the glass nearly to the edge. Dark fruit flavors of blackberry, blueberry and dark chocolate. Great acidity. Lots of juiciness. Rounded tannins provide ample structure to this wine. Medium+ finish that goes on and on. Impressive.

June 29, 2021 - For a not very expensive bottle, this ages as well as anything we own. Soft, with a still solid tannin backbone, this paired perfectly with a smoked filet mignon in a red wine shallot reduction sauce.

    January 5, 2019 - Drank out of a magnum.
Aged in a magnum, could not tell the difference between this and their older Reserves.
Remarkable how this commodity cabernet aged so well.
Granted, it was a magnum, but absolutely still drinking well

April 26, 2018 - Stored @55 since purchase. Popped/poured. Impenetrable dark red-purple w/very little bricking. Rich, fat midpalate of ripe cassis/black fruits, sweet tannins ending in a medium finish. Holding remarkable well for a midpriced napa cap.
