May 12, 2014 - Same as it ever was. Ditto earlier note.
July 1, 2013 - nice chard... good qpr
April 5, 2013 - Very nice but not more. Not particularly well balanced but still highly enjoyable especially as I do love napa chards
December 25, 2012 - Much cleaner and more elegant than I expected. Primarily green apple and stone flavors with well-proportioned acidity. Treads lightly on the oak.
November 24, 2012 - The wine looks Light gold colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Guava, Stoniness, and Apple blossom. The body is Medium. The wine has Smooth texture. The wine finishes Medium.
October 21, 2012 - PandPd. Light gold; citrus nose with some sweeter fruits and a floral quality. Medium weight on the palate; good balance with echoing acidity after sweet Chardonnay fruit. Not a big or powerful wine but this has resolved its oak and is drinking very nicely.
April 2, 2012 - Nuanced buttered popcorn aromas. The body is much more poised and elegant than I would have imagined given the region and the 14.5%ABV declared. A graceful attraction to Arroyo Grande. Fruit is not quite tropical. Ripe pear fruits. Wonderfully, the style diverges from my expectations.
Day 3. Barrel spice comes more to the front. Spearmint. Palate is full with a tensity. Really nice Chardonnay.
March 5, 2012 - Rich, somewhat yeasty, but with a nice acidic backbone. Excellent.
February 15, 2012 - Brighter and much leaner than I would have expected from a less expensive southern Cali Chardonnay, it paired well with our food but ultimately wasn't anything particularly special, just a decent cheap Chardonnay. A very little oak, nice acids, short finish.
January 21, 2012 - nose: toasty, apple
taste: dry, full body with a drawn out finish of light oak, round apple flavors, oak throughout
