August 20, 2023 - Dark ripe and powerful - this was more wine than I expected when I opened the bottle. Pure on the nose with a little bit of smoke and roasted meat. Palate is medium bodied, ripe yet with firm and juicy tannins and good acidity. Lots of currant and red cherry and blackberry fruit - really very nice. Finish is good as well, with good depth and length of flavour. Very good with some greek themed food.

March 20, 2023 - Clear, deep ruby. Ripe, juicy and powerful on the nose. Rich blackberry and blueberry jam, mint, smoked meat and cherry currant.
Firm, chalky tannins. Hot. Powerful palate.
Ripe and jammy flavours of meat and espresso.
Over the top and not my style. May settle down over time? -

March 12, 2022 - I didn't take notes.
Method: Double magnum; pop and pour + a couple of hours; plastic cups at a party
This wine had a good mouthfeel and solid body. Simple notes of dark (but not especially juicy or ripe) fruits and dried herbs -- decently bitter, especially on the finish. Good balance. I didn't examine this closely, but was thinking it was probably around 86 points for me. -

February 2, 2022 - NobleRottersSydney - blind 17 Chard & 14 Shiraz (Fix, St James, Sydney): {cork?, 13.5%} Science-fiction purple in colour. Smells of gluey oak and alcohol. Reminiscent of a Robert Parker zombie-wine. Raisin & prune flavours, seemingly little oak on the palate. No tannin to note, nor acidity evident. Hot, short finish. Presumably not typical; hard to know exactly why this is showing so badly. Didn’t seem especially oxidised, so maybe there’s something else at play? Baked in a shipping container or something? I thought it might have been a Languedoc Frankenstein wine. Votes: Last by everyone except Aaron
