June 9, 2019 - A solid rose! Gauva at the fore front! So good especially for the price point!
October 8, 2018 - PnP, chilled. A solid and interesting rose made from 70% garnacha & 30% monastrell. Medium bodied, with some light red fruits and bright acidity. Tried with meat stuffed red peppers which overwhelmed it a bit, but could easily be a summer sipper, or accompany a salad. Not meant for long term aging.
September 2, 2018 - Midweight rose, simple but good. Balanced, food friendly.
August 11, 2018 - Solid summer drinker, great qpr. Nose of roses, good acid, easy peasy, without being too light.
July 28, 2018 - Fine bistro quality Rosado. Interesting textures, very good acid. Versatile with food. 86-87.
July 7, 2018 - Great for the price! A simple summer quaffer.
July 1, 2018 - Monastrell and Garnacha blend. Floral, more rose than honeysuckle, fruit up front with moderate acidity and fairly dry finish. For the money, tough to beat. Not the best Rose ever, but can't beat the price.
June 23, 2018 - This came across as disjointed, and barely interesting. The lower acidity isn't great, but the fruit itself comes across as disharmonious - there's two distinct fruit flavors that seem to quarrel. It's as if under-ripe fruit with a green edge was added to a base of very ripe fruit to lend the impression of energy where little exists. Overall it's not bad, just meh. And meh isn't good enough.
June 17, 2018 - Easy drinking
February 27, 2018 - Vibrant with a touch of that onion thing. not much going on. Les notes that it may need a bit more time to develop. Maybe its just shipping shock.
