September 12, 2020 - Red fruits, a bit of spice, a slight earthy/soil note. Light bodied & elegant.

August 22, 2020 - Pnp just avec surf session in Brittany. Nose a bit shy with simple strawberry and cherry jam. Mouth more fresh, juicy berries with grenada and english chemical sweats. Still a pinot noir style. Needs three more years to show a kind of noble animal notes. The best gamay i could accept. 89-91 potential.

July 28, 2020 - Decanted for sediment and to oxygenate a little. Nose of red cherry, raspberry, a bit of pomegranate along with some slight barnyard funk and earth. The barnyard aromas blew off a bit as the wine opened up but there was still a bit of an earthy, musky undertone. Mostly red fruit driven on the palate with medium+ acid, medium tannin. Definitely more lean than ripe as compared to 18 and it's probably not as juicy or delicious as 18, but I really enjoyed it and would reach for the 17 to drink with food as opposed to on its own.

July 22, 2020 - Medium bodied, traditional and modern styling - though will appeal to natural wine fans too. Nose energetic with raspberries, ultra-sour candy, and hints of the sultry-ness to come. Palate is tart-forward, bright red, forest floor, smoke, and meanders into village burgundy territory. Rocketship of acidity, but with complexity backing it. Tart from start to finish. Drinking nicely alone and suited to food. But I wouldn't wait too many years to enjoy, by 2025?

If this is your jam, check out Joseph Swan "Saralee" Pinot Noir and Windy Oaks "Proprietor's Reserve" Pinot Noir.
