    December 29, 2021 - From magnum, sulfured version.
    Bright red fruit, easily appreciated around the table. Way more mellow than i remember the 19. Low tannins and acid.

    December 19, 2021 - Very Good++ / Excellent-
    Really hitting its stride, drinking better than it did a year earlier. No overt natural funk to blow off or integrate, very pure, elegant. Zippy, but not demonstrably acidic, intermingled dark and red fruits, some earth and herb.

    I was looking for a red to pair against a plate with a portabella mushroom stuffed with aromatic elements & sundried tomato topped with gruyere and a lima been preparation with sorrel and feta. This worked perfectly, a great pairing, no clashing, but complete harmony.

    Note: "S" bottling, M17TRS 11/07/18
    13.5% abv

    July 5, 2021 - 3rd of 6 bottles, pretty red fruits like strawberry and raspberry, with wet soil, sweet tobacco leaf, anise, road tar, and plum skin.
    The tannins are finely grained, with med body and a bright acidity to lend a refreshing nature to the finish.
    Drink now through 2025 or so.
