May 28, 2023 - I'd never have put this as a Barbera in a blind tasting.

Well made without that typical (for me detracting) quality of blurred fruits. I usually perceive them as very poor photographs.

Still a young wine with great delineation, distinctness, tannic bite and a bright future!

May 13, 2022 - Decanted for two hours. Before the decant you could find cherries and a fairly pronounced acidity. When served to a pasta with cream sauce containing mushrooms, garlic, onion and beef it had opened up. Tasting prior to eating revealed cherries, red fruit and a hint of vanilla on the nose. The taste had developed a lot with layers of dark berries and fruit, violet and a touch of oak. My wife found some chocolate which I couldn’t quite find. Very interesting development over time into a very nice and balanced wine with medium tannins well balanced by acidity and freshness.

September 23, 2021 - Dark and brooding barbera. Pnp, openned up in 20 min, cherry nose, lots of dark fruit. Still very young, but very approachable. Would be great in 5 to 7 more yrs.

July 30, 2021 - Très très beau et prêt à boire, la première bouteille bue il y a 2 mois n'était pas aussi bonne, était probablement off
