May 17, 2022 - This has a big future ahead, but really needs another 10 years. It is still so dense and brooding and needs time to relax and come together. It's a powerful wine with a fair bit of oak input for a Marius. Drink from 2030.

August 15, 2021 - 2nd Bottle of this. Decanted for about 1.5 hours. It feels really ripe in flavour with a fair whack of vanilla oak. The mataro tends to dominate with its earthy, brambly, spice notes. There is some good tannic grip on the finish. I left over night and came back to it the next evening - the wine was a bit more balanced out and harmonious, with the varieties complementing each other a bit better. I did not enjoy this as much as the first one.

May 9, 2020 - My first Marius wine, thoroughly enjoyed it. I often get a kerosine taste in MV wines, but thankfully not in this. (No problem with kerro in aged Riesling)
