  February 18, 2018 - Earthy with mushroom notes, flowers, berries and leather. Very Italian in profile with good structure. Raisin and dates on the finish. Round and smooth. Just tipping over its peak. Drink now.

  January 26, 2018 - Funny, I gave this wine a 90 point rating four years ago. Thought at the time, that the wine had a good year or two left. Wrong, it is tasting very nice now. More leather/cigar notes but still a bit of fruit. Not dead by any means.

  January 29, 2016 - showing well after decanting for an hour. Tannins have integrated well with a nice leather note on the nose and red fruits on the palate. Wouldn't hang onto this for much longer.

  March 11, 2014 - Drinking beautifully. Unique. The Sangiovese melds marvelously. This is the best use of Sangiovese we have had from California.
