January 2, 2021 - Nice red fruit to begin followed by a not so pleasant finish. Maybe described as a little chemical’ish or industrial finish.
September 25, 2020 - Aroma is a bit yeasty, with brambly fruit. Tastes of bitter cherry. Light tannins.
June 11, 2020 - Retail $15. 100% Monastrell (Mourvèdre). This wine received a rather high score from one Robert Parker (92) but has been less well-received here on Cellar Tracker (average of 86 in 23 reviews). Nearly opaque ruby red with aromas of black fruit (black raspberry and black cherry), spice, nutmeg, and just a hint of funk (but I love the funk). The palate is certainly more acid than fruit-driven, but there is some lovely fruit, particularly on day two. On day one, I was less than thrilled (closer to the Cellar Tracker opinion) but twenty-four hours later? While not ALL the way there, I am a lot closer to the Parker assessment. thedrunkencyclist.com
November 21, 2019 - A bit too much beat down on this wine from previous posts. while not a star by any measure. It paired well with pork shoulder and cherry shallot jus. A round fruity medium body wine with no discernible tannins, built with a touch of residual sugar left over. the wine is fine for a home cooked week night meal. cheers!
July 28, 2019 - Pretty good, with juicy fruit and a nice oak foundation. However, there is a streak of bitterness here that knocks a point or two off. I prefer other wines at this price.

May 7, 2019 - "Rated 92 by Wine Advocate"? Who's paying these guys off? Rather green and unfinished. Perhaps too well-made. You get what you pay for.
April 25, 2019 - Two bottles in a row, had turned. The most pungent corked wine I've experienced. I have a case, worried it's all bad.
April 17, 2019 - Deep ruby color. Oak and sweet black fruit flavors.
March 25, 2019 - Nice Monastrell. It's not from Jumilla or Yecla, but fits right in. The best thing about this wine is that it held up to being open for 3 days and was better on the 3rd day.
