Critic tasting note: "(2001) Tight, compact, but somehow muscular nose, hinting at power. Delicate, creamy oak frames white fruit: pear, melon, hints of richer toasty, nutty character. Wax too, with butter and richness yet a sheen of something racy and taut at the core. On the palate this is already sublime, with thrilling balance of buttery, butterscotchy white fruit and a great core of minerality and lingering subtle toastiness. This is fabulously complex and long. Superb." - 94/100, Tom Cannavan
