  July 9, 2009 - Drank this over the weekend with some friends. Blend of 50% Monastrell, 30% Cab Sav and 20% Shiraz. Drank it without food. Served at about 61 degrees and it warmed a little as we drank it. This was a medium bodied wine with juicy tannins. Notes of pomegranite, smoke and plum. Very good wine. Especially for the price I paid. 87-88 points.

  May 9, 2009 - This was sandwiched between two nice GSM"s but was not an embarisment. Blueberry nose but dry enought to hold its own. For 10 bucks not bad.

  June 3, 2008 - An interesting experiment, mixing old and new world styles, but this gives the wine kind of an identity crisis. The shiraz, despite not being the dominant grape, shines through with some nice fruit. However the wine overall isn't very complex and didn't change much over the course of a couple hours. I bought this bottle more for the "wow, a Spanish shiraz blend named after a Joe Cocker song?!?" factor, but it wasn't that great. Glad I only paid $10 for it.
