December 29, 2023 - A somewhat bitter herbaceousness on the nose at first. Later this blows off and leaves the scene to intermingling and changing notes of garrigue, black pepper, black cherry, plum, licorice and just a hint of vanilla.
Fresh, spicy and loads of energy on the medium-bodied palate. This has really come into its own. Clearly my best bottle so far. Great stuff. Remember to decant. -

April 2, 2022 - Rosemary, thyme and understated red berry aromas.
Weighty but also very fresh and fruit-forward on the palate. Elegant and powerful and still with tannic grip. Best enjoyed slightly cooled. When too warm it has a slightly bitter ending that I found a bit off-putting. -

April 19, 2019 - Vinturied into a decanter and let sit for 30+ minutes. Dark garnet in colour; nose of raspberries with some bay leaves with touches of lavenders. The palate's getting some meaty and peppery red berries and ends on some bitter herbs and more black peppers. Medium+ bodied with a medium+ balanced finish. Great showing.
