October 1, 2020 - Delicious sparkling rose.
Nose of yeast, cherry, raspberry.
Taste of strawberry and raspberry, yeast, herbs, bread, and a little mineral undertone. Mouth feel is so full between the bubbles and the yeastiness and the acid. Really excellent finish for a sparkling wine.
Assume you'll love this if you like white burgundy aged on lees, sour beers, sourdough bread. You'll hate it if you think yeast or bread smells signal "off flavors".
May 16, 2020 - Delightful sparkling rose. Watermelon and strawberry all over, balanced and not overpowering acid, and really nice bubbles. Versatile!
July 21, 2019 - Simple but good. Pungent, funky yeast character combined with carbonic bubbles and fruity syrah.
July 14, 2019 - I did not look at the reviews in cellartracker before opening this bottle so my opinion was not biased but I did look at the reviews after I poured it out. Lots of carbonation upon opening but that is where the excitement ended. Somewhat medicinal but I would not call it flawed. It was somewhat heavy, not the light fruit flavor I expect from a sparkling rose. I don't remember my first bottle being this bad. I served it to family and had to collect the glasses after a few minutes.
May 9, 2019 - Not a terribly complex wine. Some simple red fruit aromas and flavors. Similar fault to the pet nat blanc from the same house...feels like there are some "distillation tail" alcohols in here. "Good," 84/100.
May 5, 2019 - More detailed notes this time. Nose is lots of strawberry with a little bit of raspberry. Palate is initially strawberry with some lemon, then a watermelon accented finish. Finish is short. Easy to drink.
December 17, 2018 - Crowd pleaser. I didn't take detailed notes, but there was a fair amount of tart red fruit.
December 17, 2018 - The color of cranberry soda. Nose of strawberries with a whiff of funk. I like this oddness. Bone dry, just a little fruit. Bubbles too aggressive for my taste. Medium finish. Interesting wine.
December 10, 2018 - Tastes like freshly fermented wine juice, with hints of must, and a yeasty aftertaste. Its only quality is that it's pretty quaffable at room temperature; it also paired alright with some very spicy foods. 13% ABV.
