September 23, 2020 - Well, well, second OZ pinot on the bucket list, same producer, same year, not exactly the same pleasure... as the wombat creek was a real hit !!

The sexton shows nice intensity on the nose, with fruits and herbs, a certain spicyness, and some dark cherry, quite a powerful one with a really southern style, cool climate but something not burgundy... and palate is subtle, fresh, light and long, no harsh tannins, fruity and so delicate, a little warm but not overwhelming. Very nice wine indeed, Wombat shows more appeal right now...

October 15, 2019 - Appearance : pale ruby, with legs

On nose : medium+ intensity, red fruit : cranberry, strawberry, leafiness, peppery spiciness, subtle
    Of vanilla oak.

On palate : dry, a bit rustic, med acidity, medium intensity, med body, sweet cherry candy, cranberry, peppery spiciness, med alcohol, soft tannin, with unexpectedly long finishing.

Overall speaking is a good wine, much more complexity than the “Yarra Valley”. This wine got very significant cherry sweetness on front and mid palate. As a new world Pinot, I fully enjoy this. I suggest to drink it now in order to enjoy its remarkable red fruit flavour. Good match with marinated chicken or duck. Cheers!

After noted more spicy character and has some milk chocolate finish

November 25, 2018 - Pinot Palooza Singapore 2018 (Theatreworks, Mohd Sultan Road): pale ruby; acidic, tannic, fairly intense, lots of sour berries, straw, barnyard

    July 26, 2018 - Deloitte tasting.

Sweet candy raspberry and strawberry, a whole bunch stem note that is well-judged and balanced; light to medium bodied, bright red fruits, some fresh herbs, driving acid on finish. Slight spirity and confected notes slightly detracts.
