January 1, 2024 - Agree w other recent notes, I think this is drinking well now, I wouldn’t say it has more nuanced flavors from aging but still has various layers of flavors which I like

    January 8, 2022 - About 2 hours after opening.

Deep cherry red and super wide clear rim. 5

Cedar, tobacco leaf, cherry, black pepper, vanilla, strawberry seed on the nose. 13

Still some tannic structure present. Chewy with nice balance of acidity and fruit. Just starting to show some dried fruit, but plenty of fresh flavors remain. Puckery mid palate with cinnamon and bay leaf. Ever evolving on the finish. Orange zest and dusty tea... Delicious. 17

Overall? For me it's drink now. I didn't want to put the glass down. 9

    September 13, 2021 - So many feels. I’m glad I waited.

May 7, 2021 - So much development during the last year.

There's a strong tobacco note developing. Fruits still poking through on the nose. Cherry pie, strawberry, pepper, cinnamon and vanilla.

The palate has transformed into a super rich stewed cherry, tobacco, cola, bright raspberry, earthy, black tea and stemmy explosion. I am flattened by the complexity of this pinot.

I pass my tongue between my teeth and cheeks minutes later and it still evokes the finish of this wine.

For those who have waited, congratulations. For those that consumed early, well...
