March 11, 2021 - 13.9% alcohol; real cork with max of 5 mm wine penetration, light to medium weight foil; aroma of wood, fruit, and alcohol; medium to long legs, medium to dark red/brown; nose of alcohol, generic stone fruit; opened, vinturied, and tasted 10 minutes later at approximately 12 degrees C; medium body, mild tannins, body of minerals and fruit, with bitter & woody being slightly ascendent over sweet; medium finish with notes of minerals, wood, and sweet going over to bitter; cannot think of anything to pair this wine with, or to drink solo either

September 2, 2020 - Not bad at all for a $14 supermarket Pinot Noir. There is good depth and focus to its tangy, delicious black cherry and dark currant fruit. This is surprisingly well-balanced and structured, with a moderate acidity that perfectly complements its fruit-forward character. Finishes with respectable length, featuring lingering notes of dried, dark fruits and smooth tannins that provide a nice bit bit of grip at the very end. Not complex, but quite enjoyable and remarkably well done for its price point.

    August 16, 2020 - A: Pale ruby
N: medium nose of strawberry, cherry, clove, orange peel. Youthful.
P: Dry, high acidity, medium tannin, high alcohol, medium (+) body, medium intensity, medium finish
C: Good Qualty as good ripeness vs acidity. Intensity and finish contribute a little to the quality. Better examples would have greater complexity , finish and concentration.

March 2, 2020 - My local Winn Dixie is pretty much dumping their inventory of this wine. True Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Light n body, but laden with dried fruit, cinnamon, cola and a little cherry flavor. Nice finish with some complexity to it. Worth it a full price, the steal of the year at $4.00 a bottle.

December 8, 2019 - By the glass at the BA lounge LHR. Overnight opened bottle sears with cork.
An in-between for a style of Sonoma Pinot, not the fully modern version but not the cool climate restraint that one sees in Ceritas for example. Solid though nice ripe feel, soft spice and this is definitely better younger than older. Nice restraint use of oak too. A solid wine and a good89-90
