April 12, 2023 - Blueberry jam out of the bottle, with 2+ hours of air it started coming into better balance. Plush black and blue fruits, chocolate, leather, baking spice. More depth than the '17 Dunn I had recently but not as well balanced. I gave them the same rating but I think I prefer the Dunn.

January 19, 2022 - A beautiful bottle that held up nicely over 3 days. Dark, rich with a long dynamite finish. Layers of flavor -- earth, tobacco, mocha and other nice oak notes. Fine tannins that keep it alive on the finish. Might have been its deepest and best on final day. Really going to miss Rudius -- love Jeff's work and his own label was a much better QPR than Tor, Boich, etc...

June 8, 2021 - Beautiful wine. Perhaps slightly more tannic than the 2016 but still perfectly balanced and drinking quite well.
