June 28, 2021 - Restaurant purchase. Spot on gorgeous Pinot. Decanted just after ordering and drunk about an hour later. Lively acidity, lovely floral and spicy cherry nose. Precise and delineated in nature. Palate is more typical of an Oregon Pinot. It has cherry, strawberry, raspberry, game meat, minerals, spices and a light feathery mouthfeel. Long peppery finish. Nice with a salmon tartar and a sockeye salmon entree. Could have used even more aeration.

January 16, 2020 - Oak (NEW?) very dominant. A little one dimensional with a slightly hot finish. Good balance. Structure portends great future ahead.

May 8, 2019 - I have been waiting to be wowed by this vintage from Tyler and this wine finally delivered. Combining both structure and complexity with lovely dark fruit. This reestablished my confidence and satisfaction with Justin's wine making philosophy and approach. This wine caught my attention and held it throughout the bottle. Very nice bottle!

March 4, 2019 - Tasted at the Skurnik Grand Portfolio Tasting in NYC. One-third whole cluster fermentation, beautiful ruby crimson color. Lovely nose that is floral, fruity and spicy with tons of complexity. Palate has medium tannin and medium+ acidity that gives it good structure for aging. Good minerality along with red raspberry fruit and a savory, spicy grilled meat finish. I love the depth in this and the texture. Great balance too. I think this wine will age magnificently. To be fair my rating includes my assessment on its longevity and how I think it will taste on its 10th - 15th birthday. Could last even longer. Superb.

October 26, 2018 - Explosive floral and spice notes on the nose. Red and dark berries with an ongoing vein of potpourri spice running throughout. Lovely weight and mouthfeel and an elegance throughout. Justin has continued to evolve and up his game, which is saying something when he started at such a high level of expertise and confidence to begin with. He works with great vineyard sites and brings the very best out of the fruit and terroir. Excellent Pinot!
