March 15, 2024 - Welp, I got one of the odd bottles. Nose is quite pretty and palate starts exactly as I'd hope, soft tannins, great mouthfeel, lovely fruit. About 10 seconds after drinking, there's a rising bitter aftertaste that's not enjoyable at all. Kind of a cross between Swiss chard and some sort of medicinal note. Not recommended.

December 17, 2023 - It’s not at all unusual for some grenache to have something very similar to cranberries, that is both a type of tart mouthfeel and the unique flavor of cranberries. It’s one of many things that make the variety so interesting and flavorful. I never had one where the cranberry like character was dominant or off-putting until this wine. This literally drank like fermented cranberry juice. It opened a very promising WW rocks nose and it smelled great throughout the evening. There were some WW rocks elements, sage/dust/nori/soy, on the palate too but the cranberry juice character just blew everything else out of the water. This is really not what I’m looking for in a wine at all. 2- (out of 5).

September 21, 2023 - Plenty of musty funk on initial pour. Within 5 minutes , it opens and becomes a complex deep , semi- brooding, big taster. Was surprisingly smooth 30 minutes after pour.

August 16, 2023 - Really interesting wine and significantly better than the last bottle I opened. It took about 30 minutes to open up and blow off some of the "Rocks" funk. Then it settled into a groove with raspberry, plum, smoke, bacon grease, and gravel. Lots of gravel. Silky smooth tannins and solid body. Evolved nicely over the evening with the flavors becoming less fruit and more spice. Note: it did not hold up the second day. A distinct The mineral spirit component became dominant. Regardless, this is drinking really well now. Probably hitting a peak that can continue for another 5-8 years.

July 9, 2023 - Appreciate the sentiments of recent posters on this wine - I've seen tremendous bottle variation for several vintages of No Girls Grenache. It was this phenomena that caused me to give up my allocation of this wine (I still buy the No Girls Syrah and sometimes the Tempranillo).

This bottle was decent - opened to familiar notes of Cayuse/C Baron funk. Flavor palate was good/decent but not spectacular.

None of the green, "off" notes I've observed previously and other commenters have noted.

    Overall solid but nothing special
