Beautiful deep purple coloration on this Pinot Noir.

Ripe blue fruits at first... almost like a blueberry and boysenberry sauce.
Nice lusciousness, soft, a touch of sweetness and charming right out of the bottle.
Violet and flower stem in the background help in giving the wine some crucial tonicity.
Quite tasty and velvety... didn't think this was from France.

However, showed some general weakness and aromatic thinness as more time passed... lost some of its makeup.
Still, frankly quite well-built for a simple "Vin de France". Doudet-Naudin's tact is undeniable even in this budget offering.

Drink and enjoy while youthful, a no-brainer!
