September 9, 2022 - No notes taken. This showed a youthful ruby-crimson color, smokey fruit, and considerable bell pepper. Very well balanced and easy drinking, lots of life left. This drank well immediately after opening and didn't change much through the evening.

August 17, 2022 - Slow oxd for half an hour. Black cherry and a bit of plum although primarily tertiary flavors. Cedar cigar box and creosote on the back end with a long finish.

July 19, 2022 - Ah. Very, very special. Just so nice to smell. The pyrazine is there, even on a ripe year, but it’s integrated into the wine. Cedar, fragrant smoke (p-vinyl guaiacol), earth. The tannins were beyond fine, and long, resolved, gentle. Texture was just a pleasure. Hard to drink anything else after that.
