April 2, 2022 - Gold color though light given its age. Honey, pear, hints of apple & melon. Peach, gold apple flavor s. Just delicious.

November 27, 2020 - Big & powerful, definitely a food wine. Can age a couple of years to level out.

November 1, 2020 - Pale gold color. Expressive nose of citrus zest, rose hips, crushed stone, nutmeg and gingerbread. Showing richer yellow pear fruits on the palate, with hints of zesty citrus along with toasted hazelnut and spices. Roundly textured and full density throughout, balanced with moderate acid and finishing with broad-grained fleshy structure and nicely lingering depth.

August 24, 2020 - Love this euro style Chardonnay with the clean tastes and finish and no big oak or butter. Was great with seared tuna steaks.

January 31, 2020 - Pale gold color. Vibrant aromatics of lemon verbena, crushed stone, gingerbread spices, hints of pear and acacia. Dense and rich palate, with flavors of white peach, salted caramel & hazelnut spices, bedrock earth and hints of white pepper. Terrific complexity, succulent flavors and rounded edges. Finishes with very nice intensity. The most terroir-driven and my favorite of the White Rock Chardonnays. Excellent vintage. Drink/hold.

December 24, 2019 - Exquisite, both with food and on its own. Complex but subtle flavors.

Paired beautifully with roasted chicken thighs with garlic and olives.

If you are repelled by typical over-oaked, buttery California chardonnay, try this before giving up on this varietal for life.

September 22, 2019 - The nose was rich, showing crushed stone minerals and lime-infused wild herbs with sweet peach. On the palate, I found soft textures, giving way to ripe apple with hints of almond and vanilla. The finish was fresh with oily textures slowly fading from the senses.
