    August 31, 2021 - Nothing special. Strawberry and raspberry on the nose. Same flavors, balanced acid and tannins. Went fine with salmon.

    May 13, 2020 - Oak is prominent on the nose with blackberry, cocoa, and pine coming thorough as well. Lacking the aromatic x factor of solid Pinot Noir to impress. The palate has a touch of unpleasantness on the finish, partially bitterness but also something else unkind.

    April 6, 2020 - This is still very tight - even on day 2. You can sense the structure and fruit on the palate, but it's still not showing its secrets.

    July 8, 2019 - Popped and poured. Strawberry, raspberry & cherry highlight the fruit. Little to no spice or earth on the nose. Light but not fruity on the nose. Same berry notes in the month with vanilla and cola. Mild tannins with a nice finish. Good value for the price point.

It is only 10% of the entire batch and it is a cellar selection and each vintage they blend sites for it. Their "best effort" for the '15 vintage. 100% whole cluster I think I heard and some new barrel. The tannin from the whole cluster certainly shows through. Kinda chewy at the cool temperature but in a good way.

    December 1, 2018 - I was pretty underwhelmed on night one. Nice enough, nothing to differentiate it from the pack.... but night two was much improved. Red raspberry, damp earth and Oregon funk on the nose, the profile pops with dark cherry, raspberry, citrus and black tea. There's a green funk note that lingers at the finish with a twinge of red fruit sweetness.

    Give it lots of air now or a few extra years to sleep.
