90-91 pts

    March 16, 2014 - Très beau 1er cru.

May 19, 2011 - On the nose, stone, yeast, and citrus. In the mouth, good acidity, some white fruit, and a little citrus. Very nice. My last of these. Great at the price.

March 13, 2011 - Really nice minerals on this. Just starting to show a little age. Wish I had another bottle. Really pure Chardonnay.

February 8, 2011 - Pale yellow-to-golden color. Floral nose w/ aromas of peach, apple and lemon - Acidity balanced, full and long on the palate. White peach and apple on the palate, w/ lemon and a very slight touch of parmesan on the long finish.

(DROIN CHABLIS MONTEE DE TONNERRE) #2; Droin is one of my favorite producers; COLOR-nice medium golden; NOSE-subtle Oak w/ pears & apples, SPECTACULAR, smokey; TASTE-classic throwback Chablis, New World Oak on the finish, lemon peel, pears, apples & minerality; Great balance, a humbleness & lack of ego, very well-structured, hints of vanilla & little FIG flavor ; ST-91; GV-91
