July 31, 2022 - Not good. Maybe past its shelf date. Tequila overwhelms the wine.
October 24, 2021 - Probably my mistake for buying. Not sure Tequila casks do anything for this wine, however the vanilla is overwhelming from the first taste. Reminded me more of a Chardonnay than a Sauv Blanc
December 29, 2020 - I would not drink this without food. This wine requires a certain type of food pairing, in this case it worked with Puerto Rican spicy chicken and prawns served with fried plantains, beans and rice from an authentic P.R. restaurant. Interesting, but not planning to purchase again.
April 21, 2020 - Powerful Alcohol (17.5%!!) leads with this must-have-with-food monster. Tastes like sauvignon blanc and oaken barrel, so they don't lie about what you are getting. Matched well enough with sauteed chicken and rice, but definitely left us buzzed. No regrets; it was a fun experience, but not one I'd pay full retail for in the future
November 7, 2019 - It was just ok
September 28, 2019 - Too much barrel. Too little wine. High alcohol content and lots of tequila barrel don't actually make for a good sauv blanc.
July 18, 2018 - Boone's Farm grown up.
July 5, 2018 - A high alcohol wine that is quite heavy for Sauvignon Blanc. It was more like drinking a watered down cocktail than wine. We were a little disappointed with this. It's not undrinkable, but I wouldn't want it again.
