November 5, 2023 - Needed about two hours - before that, it was a bit snippy. Went perfectly with wagyu burgers and kale. Very good QPR as long as you have a time machine.

October 11, 2022 - Final bottle from a half case purchased from the Dutch importer in 2018. Unlike the 2015 tasted a few days ago, this is very expressive for vineyard, vintage and vigneron. It retains that dusty chalkiness noted before, but other than that it is glossy and silky, medium-bodied, with ripe but fresh fruit, lovely hints of Asian spices and oak spice, finely grained tannins and good resonance and length. Lovely stuff.

August 13, 2022 - Fifth bottle from a half case purchased from the Dutch importer in 2018. Nice to compare with the 2015 opened yesterday. Like previous bottles, it is a bit dusty on the nose, and the Asian spicebox Vosne character is less pronounced than in the previous vintage, with a slight stemminess too, but on the palate it is more energetic, and the cool, silky and floral character squarely puts in the Côte de Nuits - although I might have guessed Chambolle if tasting blind. Lovely fruit definition, elegant tannic structure, very good length. Such as shame that Vigot's lease of Lutenière ran out - fortunately there is still Verdet... On the second day this is really singing, the dust has settled, there is a hint of evolution, the fruit is crisp and creamy, the structure is so vibrant and charming, village level easily.

January 11, 2022 - Diam 5. Second bottle from a half case purchased from the Dutch importer in 2018. The last vintage of Lutenieres for Fabrice Vigot - the lease on their plot terminated. It's a lot dustier and stemmier on the nose than the best vintages which they fashioned from this plot - the 2009 and 2015. It just does not have that level of Vosne typicity and excitement, although it makes a commendable effort on the finish. The palate is juicy and fresh, but the tannins are tight and firm and just a bit raw. The lieu-dit performs best when it is bright and cheerful but not too serious - especially not structure-wise. This 2016 is solid rather than unexciting. Assez bien. (90). On the second day it is not as tight and a bit more generous on the palate, but no extra points. (90).
