November 18, 2022 - ripe and mature now but still got the acidity. Pretty rounded on the palate upfront, but gets drier.
May 24, 2022 - very big nose of petrol and polyurethane. Good ripeness on the palate but still got plenty of acidity, and actually still grippy on the finish.
October 23, 2021 - Fragile and delicate with a fine nose. Would not wait any longer.
October 7, 2021 - Apricot, honey, hints of petrol. Round, ripe and creamy. From demi.
November 11, 2020 - Agree with most of the recent notes. Nice but not particularly special, and definitely feels past it’s prime.
May 9, 2020 - Sweet
March 10, 2020 - my second btl (of 2 total)... this was nice and essentially a repeat of the first... nice wine but a little past peak, glad to see the 'drink date' working on CellarTracker... my '01's and my '07's are showing those wines can last another decade or two but the '03 drink dates says it is at the end of its life -- with which I agree, would have been better 5 years ago, it was a hot vintage and the wine showed it, nice citrus and petrol but enough lift / tension / brightness for my taste
October 18, 2019 - Acker 2019/10 (Bouley): Quite ripe with petro and yellow fruit. 91
October 3, 2019 - Birthday lunch wine at jujube CH NC. Spot on with the menu and enjoyed it with friends that appreciated it. Acid, fruit and body were singing. Right time, right wine.
June 17, 2019 - A lot of petrol in this vintage, of which Clos Ste. Hune usually only displays traces. Fat and unctuous and low in acidity, not surprisingly given the torrid vintage conditions. To drink ASAP since it may fall apart relatively early. Still, it’s flavorful and quite interesting.
