October 19, 2020 - Standout from Standish, I only wish I had more of this in my cellar. Purple and black in colour. Berries, cocoa and almost floral hit on the nose. Super fine and elegant but still has loads complexity and length. Juicy, fruity and sexy

May 4, 2020 - Haven’t got much to add to the very good community notes below. A memorable wine of depth, complexity, tannin, balance, length and flavour. A superior example of Barossa (Eden) Shiraz.

April 29, 2020 - Stunning wine. Really lovely drinking now, but many years left here. Dark plum fruits, allspice and cloves. Glossy and thick in texture with velvety tannins and a very long finish. Decant well if drinking soon.

June 21, 2019 - Rich, effusive nose of dark plum, blood orange, violets. Full bodied but not overweight, long raspy Barolo-like tannin chains through the midpalate and finish, sweet dark fruits on entry which transitions to a strong black tea finish in flavour and texture. Maintains better precision and finesse on the palate at cooler temperatures (e.g. 15 - 18 degrees). Impressive.

February 24, 2019 - Hailing from the Hutton Vale vineyard this is wine that has good flesh. It drips with juicy blood plum and has a solid ironstone base. It slowly builds and possesses great intensity and fresh acidity. The finish is quite chewy.
